For Mom

Every time I take my mother, who is in her late eighties, to a quilt show she asks did I enter anything?  My answer has always been "no".  So I decided several months ago that I must enter a quilt into a show while my mother is still around to appreciate it.  I entered three wall quilts into the county fair and my quilt called "Celestial Views"  got the special award for best use of color.  There were 350 quilts entered into the show and all 5 judges had to agree on the special awards. So I guess Mom was right I should have entered a quilt into the show.
